What Is A NAAUC On The Road?
Throughout the year, NAAUC takes the academic program ‘On the Road’ to make our services accessible to your residential community on-site and on-demand. To carry out a NAAUC On the Road (NOTR) session, our experienced team members and skilled alumni personally visit your residential community to provide support when and where it is needed. Every residential community is different, meaning we evaluate every NAAUC On the Road session to provide a unique program which is tailored to your students and their needs.
The content of these sessions is extremely versatile, ranging from consulting services focused on particular issues, to leadership training days involving multiple communities. We can also offer services during Orientation Weeks to help provide information to incoming students of your residence. NAAUC can deliver seminars, personalised workshops and even facilitate discussion sessions between several residential communities at your university. The On the Road program is particularly effective for student leadership training, changeover programs, orientation week, strategic planning sessions and problem-solving consultations.

Booking colleges are also required to cover any travel and accommodation costs required to facilitate the NAAUC On The Road

NAAUC On The Road Logistics
Based on the selected seminars, NAAUC Team location, availability, and expertise, the NAAUC team will select facilitators for your NAAUC On The Road.
If our facilitators incur any costs related to the NAAUC On The Road, those cost shall be added to your fee.
As part of the preparation for your NAAUC On The Road, you will be invited to a pre-consultation with NAAUC Team Members. You will also be sent a pre-pack with surveys for participants to complete prior to your NAAUC On The Road.
All participants must be supplied with the NAAUC On The Road policies provided in your pre-pack. All participants must adhere to the code of conduct outlined in the policies throughout the NAAUC On The Road.
Upon booking your NAAUC On The Road, you will be sent an invoice to be paid prior to the NAAUC On The Road.
All groups booking a NAAUC On The Road must provide the following resources:
A projector, with HDMI input, connected to audio.
A whiteboard with markers, or a smart whiteboard
A lectern or small table for facilitator use.
Access to bathroom facilities
Access to drinking water
Seating for participants.
All colleges or residences booking a NAAUC On The Road must agree to the NAAUC On The Road Terms & Conditions, found here.
