NAAUC On The Road Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions outline the requirements on individuals and colleges in the facilitation of NAAUC On The Road seminars.
For each NAAUC On The Road, the Association shall select facilitators to deliver seminars. Facilitators will be selected on a range of factors, including but limited to; location, expertise, availability, and suitability. Colleges have no right to select presenters or dictate how many presenters will be required.
Any travel costs incurred in order to deliver a NAAUC On The Road shall be covered by the booking college. This shall take the form of a presenter travel fee to be included in the NAAUC On The Road fee.
Should facilitators require accommodation in order to deliver a NAAUC On The Road, the college shall, where possible, accommodate presenters. In circumstances where accommodation is not available at the booking college, an additional accommodation fee may be levied against the booking college.
The booking college shall provide relevant meals for NAAUC facilitators that are delivering the NAAUC On The Road.
Any additional costs incurred in delivering NAAUC On The Road seminars shall be levied against the booking college. This will be included as a NAAUC On The Road additional fee.
All monies must be paid prior to the NAAUC On The Road commencing. In cases where the booking college has failed to pay monies, NAAUC may choose to cancel the NAAUC On The Road. In such cases, refunds shall not be offered.
All participants of a NAAUC On The Road must abide by NAAUC’s policies and code of conduct, which shall be provided by the NAAUC Management Team prior to the NAAUC On The Road commencing. In cases where participants fail to abide by NAAUC policy, facilitators may choose to expel any participants from the NAAUc On The Road. Refunds shall not be offered in such cases.
All booking colleges are required to complete the pre-NAAUC On The Road surveys, including the Residence Information Survey, the Contact Details Survey, and the participant surveys. If relevant surveys have not been completed, NAAUc facilitators may delay the start of a NAAUC On The Road seminar. Refunds will not be offered in such cases.
Should the booking college wish to cancel a NAAUC On The Road, NAAUC will endeavour to refund monies paid, subject to the above conditions. If NAAUC has already incurred costs due to the NAAUC On The Road, these costs will not be refunded, and partial refunds may be offered.
By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you understand and agree to the rights, privileges, and obligations of your college, its staff, its residents, and the Association in relation to NAAUC On The Road seminars.
