NAAUC National Conference creates a space where students from across Australia come together to discuss their residential experience and share their ideas about how it may be improved. Our ambition is that this will encourage students to aim higher and play an active part in making their residence an even better place.

Throughout the year, NAAUC takes the academic program ‘On the Road’ to make our services accessible to your residential community on-site and on-demand. Our team are able to tailor our academic sessions to give residence an in-depth and insightful education program.

NAAUC prides itself on promoting diversity in conversation and ensuring equal opportunity for all. To facilitate this, we offer several scholarships. These range from a partial cover to fully funded. This is to enable high quality candidates who are interested in student leadership and furthering their residential communities to attend our National Conference. Our scholarships are also designed to maximise personal and professional gain from attending the National Conference.

Every year the Association recognises the achievements of students, student teams, and College communities across the country. The NAAUC Awards Program takes nominations from any individual, including staff and students at Colleges and University residences.

Recipients will be invited to attend the National Conference Opening Dinner as honoured guests.

NAAUC operates a consulting program to allow student leaders and residents living on campus to get relevant, up to date and actionable advice. NAAUC team members are experienced in student leadership, and the residential experience, and are equipped to empower students living on campus to confront issues in their community.

State Summits bring together current and prospective student leaders from residences across the state to discuss the challenges in an open forum and equip them with the knowledge, skills and state-wide network to overcome these residential issues.

NAAUC’s academic program is the pinnacle of peer learning in university colleges. Across more than thirty different topics, the catalogue of academic seminars is designed to capture the most important topics for student leaders in university colleges. The program is constantly evolving based on the feedback and needs of students in colleges.
