Charles is the NAAUC 2025 Creative Director, bringing a passion for student experience and community to the role. He lived at Jane Franklin Hall in Hobart from 2022 to 2024, whilst studying a Bachelor of Business and Media and Communications at the University of Tasmania. During his time at Jane, Charles was deeply involved in residential leadership, serving as Vice President of the Student Club in 2023 and later as President in 2024. Charles first engaged with NAAUC as a delegate in 2022, an experience that ignited his enthusiasm for fostering change and development within residential communities across the country. Since then, he has contributed to NAAUC as an Academic Director and a member of the Working Party, furthering his commitment to enhancing the residential experience for students nationwide. With a keen eye for photography, design, and creative problem-solving, Charles is dedicated to thinking outside the box and embracing innovative approaches to student engagement. He is particularly inspired by the ongoing development within the residential community space and is eager to support its continued growth and evolution through his work at NAAUC.

The Creative Director is responsible for the creation of NAAUC’s publications, media content, and merchandise. The Creative Director manages all of NAAUC’s graphic design needs, and ensures that the work of all work team members is presented in a professional and uniform way, reflecting the quality and professionalism of the Association. The Creative Director supports NAAUC’s social media and engagement efforts as the leader of the NAAUC Media Subcommittee.
