KATIE PLUME

Keynote Speaker

Our keynote speaker for NAAUC’s 54th National Conference Opening Dinner is Katie Plume. Katie is the epitome of a role model for college student leaders, as she is a successful university student from the University of Queensland, a professional rower, and most notably, co-founder of her start up Safe and Sexy.

afe and Sexy promotes positive sex education and consent, spreading their important message through workshops to students across Australia. Katie was also NAAUC’s very own Conference Director in 2022, and resided and held leadership position/s at St John’s College in Queensland. Katie has been a Conference delegate, and here she is delivering our opening address, a prime example of the influence that can be created in the wider community through student leadership. Katie’s success speaks volumes on her dedication and hard work to achieve her endeavours, and her inspiring journey will highlight to our audience that the sky's the limit.
